Lord Dyson practiced at the commercial and construction bar before becoming a judge. He was a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom from 2010 until 2012 and Master of the Rolls (the President of the Court of Appeal and Head of Civil Justice) until his retirement from the bench. Lord Dyson has extensive experience as an international arbitrator across a broad spectrum of commercial work, sitting as a sole, presiding and party appointed arbitrator.
